We have been operating individually designed hotel and gastronomy businesses in Basel since 2003. Today, the Consum Wine Bar, the Nomad Design & Lifestyle Hotel and the Volta Bräu - Brewpub & Brewery also belong to the Hotel Krafft - the origin of our story.
Hotel Krafft Basel Historical and cordial - Hotel Krafft, built in 1873, is located on Kleinbasel's picturesque Rhine promenade. On the one hand with a view of the pulsating Rheingasse and on the other with a view of the lively Rhine promenade and the old town of Grossbasel. The restaurant and its terrace are all about enjoyment - guests become explorers and combine dishes as they please.
Consum Weinbar The Consum wine bar, opposite Hotel Krafft - where the aperitif last that little bit longer. Guests appreciate the Mediterranean interior ambiance and the relaxed atmosphere outside on the lively terrace in Rheingasse. At Consum, we take time for wine lovers and the curious who are taking their first taste of the world of wine. Good ambiance for a long aperitif.
Nomad Design & Lifestyle Hotel My heart beats for two: one loves design and the other urban culture. But in my soul, I am as wild as a jungle. Guests come from all over, at any time of the day or night. Some would love to stay on the linen bedding forever, others enjoy world food and world class cocktails. There's always something going on here, and for those who tend towards boredom, prefer other hotels.
Volta BräuAt Volta Platz, the freshest craft beer in town is brewed according to traditional craftsmanship. We tap seasonally updated varieties and every now and then something unusual. Drinks are served in the brewpub next to the brewing kettles or in the cosy garden surrounded by plants and trees. Volta Bräu is served in all Krafft Group establishments - a real house beer.
