The combined degree programme «Professional Bachelor (SHL) and Bachelor of Science (HSLU) in Hospitality Management» is a full-time course of study that takes between four and four and a half years to complete. It includes two paid internships in Switzerland or abroad and provides you with transferable skills in hospitality management, operations as well as international business. Particular emphasis is also placed on developing interpersonal and leadership skills, including communication, teamwork and emotional intelligence. During your studies, you will focus on the highest standards of excellence, along with modern management practices, and work on applied business projects as well as academic research projects.

Industry internships are an indispensably valuable opportunity for you to experience the world of hospitality first hand. Our Career & Internship Department is at hand to assist and advise you and assure that you will find a suitable internship.
Through the two 6-month internships you will gain real hospitality work experience and start building your personal professional network.
- 2 paid internships in Switzerland or abroad, with the option of a third internship (management training) for students starting in February.
- minimum salary in Switzerland: CHF 2'390 per month
- 3 annual career days
- 200 companies on campus annually
- 4.2 internship offers per student per internship
