Dolomites, drive, and a host in heart and mind

CEO Sonnwies Dolomites / General Manager Operations, Sonnwies Dolomites

Exciting, many new faces, and an incredible number of impressions all at once – that’s how Anna Hinteregger describes her first day at SHL. Even then, one thing was clear: this would be more than just an education. For Anna, SHL is “a place of learning, connection, and personal development” – and what remains in her memory with her most are the joint projects and the team spirit that ran like a common thread throughout her studies.

After her first professional stops in Zurich, including at La Réserve Eden au Lac and Globus, her path led her to where she feels at home today: the Dolomites. Since 2018, Anna has been responsible for operations, sales, and quality standards at Sonnwies Dolomites as General Manager Operations – and has since also become CEO, the face behind the vision. Her goal: to further develop Sonnwies as an attractive and sustainable family destination. Variety is guaranteed – organization, communication, service, and continuous development are as much part of her everyday life as the view of the mountains.

In her private life, Anna loves this proximity to nature and the high quality of life in Lüsen. Fresh eggs and fruit are waiting in the fridge, and after an intense day, walks or good music help her unwind. Curious, driven, and warm-hearted – that’s how she describes herself. As a guest, she values attentive service and genuine hospitality – those small, honest details that turn a stay into a true experience.

And if Anna could wish for something for the industry? More focus on sustainability – and less superficiality. Or even better: stopping time every now and then. Just briefly. So that this Dolomites moment can last a little longer.
