A look at SHL

The location of the SHL Schweizerische Hotelfachschule Luzern is perfect. Visitors entering and leaving  SHL can enjoy the proximity to the city centre and the fantastic views of the lake and mountains. But it’s not just the location of SHL that is attractive: With its stylish design, the campus conveys a genuine hospitality ambience. The infrastructure includes state-of-the-art academic and practical training facilities as well as group rooms, retreats for self-study and lounge areas. The three F&B outlets offer students fresh and delicious food and drinks as well as excellent guest service.

Restaurant Salt & Pepper

In the training restaurant Salt & Pepper, our students enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner of a high culinary standard.


People meet in the Club: Refreshments during breaks or a relaxing after-work drink with friends. There is always a stunning view of the city, Lake Lucerne and our local mountain, the Pilatus.

Caffè Milano

Caffè Milano is the coffee bar where students learn all about the art of making coffee, and of course enjoy delicious coffee.

Boost Zone

In the Boost Zone, students let their creativity run wild, treat themselves to a well-deserved break or have a business lunch. A room with many facets and functions.

Hotel SHL

The Hotel SHL is located right next to the SHL Lakeview Campus, where around 80 students stay during the semester. Hotel SHL reflects a true hotel experience, with different room categories for students to choose from. In addition to the modern, spacious rooms, Hotel SHL offers a common room with a fully equipped kitchen and a large roof terrace for relaxing and enjoying warm evenings with friends.
