There are numerous opportunities to get involved beyond your studies. These include taking part in student competitions, contributing to the social media content team, helping to organise the kiosk in the final semester, as well as engaging in discussions and activities in the Book Club and Running Club. The SHL ID Loop Award by Hotela recognises students who embody the values of SHL Campus in a particularly exemplary way. At its core, the award focuses not only on academic achievement, but above all on attitude, social competence and day-to-day interaction. It honours students who stand out through their behaviour, initiative and commitment, who take responsibility, and who inspire and positively shape their environment. The Student Ambassadors represent SHL externally and provide prospective students with an authentic insight into student life and campus experience. To ensure safety and well-being on SHL Campus, trained staff are available as occupational first aiders as well as Mental Health First Aid practitioners certified through ensa.
The occupational first aiders provide prompt initial medical assistance in emergencies, while staff trained in ensa Mental Health First Aid support individuals experiencing psychological distress and serve as first points of contact. This ensures reliable initial support for both physical and mental well-being.
