Swiss students and trainees may apply for a one-off or recurring support contributions during their studies.The cantonal scholarship offices are responsible for issues relating to this funding of training. They also have addresses of foundations and private funds that offer financial support.
Members of the Hotel and Gastro Union (HGU) - the founder SHL Schweizerische Hotelfachschulen Luzern - can apply for interest-free education loans if they need support in financing their SHL education. Enrolled students can find more information about this on our intranet.
Members of Hotel & Gastro Union – the founding organisation of SHL – benefit from a tuition discount of CHF 200 per semester, granted directly by SHL. To qualify, a personal membership of at least two years prior to the start of the semester is required. The discount is paid out by SHL at the beginning of each semester.
SHL is a partner of the Movetia Foundation, one of the aims of which is to promote the inter-European exchange of students. The cooperation with Movetia allows SHL to provide grants to students who are completing an internship or management experience in another European country.
