Meret, a positive and enthusiastic leader, started her international career in hospitality directly after graduating from SHL in 2006 at The Peninsula in New York. From the very start, she made a name for herself in teams of luxury hotels worldwide and took on leadership positions in the renowned hotel group «The Peninsula» in New York, Bangkok and Tokyo. When Meret was part of «The Peninsula Tokyo» team, the hotel received the prestigious five-star award from Forbes Travel Guide and was voted No. 1 «Top Hotels in Tokyo» by Travel and Leisure Magazine. After a period of work at the iconic «The Dorchester» in London as Director of Rooms, her path led her back to «The Peninsula», this time in London. Since October 2021, she has been part of the pre-opening team as Executive Assistant Manager, Rooms. The Peninsula London will open in spring 2023. It is spectacularly located between Hyde Park and Green Park, with a vision to become one of the best hotels in the world.
