Impulse Talk: Employer branding in hospitality -Successes and Pitfalls
13.10.2026 | 17:30 - 21:00 (CET)
Date:
Tuesday, 13 October 2026
Following the inaugural Employer Branding Talk, which attracted considerable interest, the series continues with a deeper focus on practical application. While the first event explored the fundamentals and strategic approaches, this session will concentrate on sharing concrete developments, learnings, and real-world results.
One year on, THE OMNIA reports on how its employer branding has evolved since its launch:
What obstacles arose during implementation?
How did employees respond?
Which initiatives proved successful – and why?
What measurable results are evident?
What are the next steps?
Simultaneously, the Kulm Group, which began its strategic employer branding, will provide insights into its experiences: challenges, key takeaways, and the main areas of focus for its team today.
This event is aimed at anyone interested in understanding how employer branding truly operates in day-to-day business after the initial kick-off – and how hotels can sustainably establish their employer brand.
Employer branding goes far beyond personnel marketing: it spans the entire employee lifecycle and is reflected in the Employer Value Proposition (EVP). A strong EVP strengthens employee engagement, reduces recruitment costs, and fosters a culture in which staff become active brand ambassadors.

18:00 – Welcome and start of presentations
THE OMNIA – One year after the first Employer Branding Talk: Britta Matthesius and Christian Eckert will demonstrate how last year’s strategic approaches were implemented, the challenges encountered, and the tangible results visible today. They will provide exclusive insights into learnings, culture development processes, and operational steps taken.
Hotel Kulm St. Moritz – From launch to implementation:
Jasmin Erb shows how the Kulm Group (Kulm Hotel & Kronenhof in St. Moritz) has brought its employer brand to life step by step since the employer branding crash course in January 2026. An authentic insight into the milestones achieved to date and the internal learning processes.
