Yangon

Together with Swisscontact, SHL Schweizerische Hotelfachschule Luzern developed a Train-the-Trainer programme, which was carried out on site in Yangon (Myanmar) from 2015 to 2017. During the first phase, 16 master trainers were trained, who in turn trained other trainers and specialists from the industry.These then trained young people all over the country, who afterwards  found employment in the country’s many hotels.The concept was implemented on the basis of a dual training system of theory and practice, in close cooperation with the political authorities and local hotels and restaurants.
