The training and qualification of key trainers who are able to impart important information and skills has been a first step towards overcoming the current problems in the Macedonian hospitality industry. For this purpose, a training centre has been selected to carry out all the training courses using a hotel as an example. The training centre, its trainers and courses have been certified in cooperation with SHL Schweizerische Hotelfachschule Luzern. Thanks to this certification and cooperation with a Swiss institution, the training centre has the necessary quality assurance to positively shape the future of the Macedonian hospitality industry.
The main objective was to bring Swiss hospitality to Macedonia through the experience and knowledge of a Swiss hotel management school and to make use of the long Swiss tradition and good reputation in the industry.
