Gastro-Trendtour in Zurich

A city tour with a difference: we visit the best, the up-and-coming, the still unknown and not forgetting the founders, fantasists, perfectionists and visionaries. Experience the most exciting aspects of Zurich's gastronomic scene with us!

On the Gastro-Trendtour, around 12 chefs, hosts, entrepreneurs and hoteliers open their doors and provide interesting insights behind the scenes of their businesses. They explain what makes their businesses so successful, talk about their personal «why» and what drives them to strive for improvement. It is by no means just about showing trendy businesses: It is also essential to show what helps a business to achieve sustainable success.

About our guide:
Georg Twerenbold has been active in the restaurant business for decades - both in front of and behind the scenes. He visits around a thousand restaurants every year and finally started organising food tours in his home city of Zurich in 2011. In the meantime, he conducts dozens of tours every year on various topics and for different target groups in Zurich, Basel, Bern, St.Gallen and Lucerne.

Dress code
We will discover Zurich's neighbourhoods on foot, so we recommend comfortable walking shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather.

CHF 195 per person (incl. guide, tastings during the tour and dinner / all consumptions ordered by us are included)
