Financial bottlenecks can occur for various reasons before or during your studies, but should not be an obstacle to studying at SHL Schweizerische Hotelfachschule Luzern.
Swiss students and trainees may apply for a one-off or recurring support contributions during their studies.The cantonal scholarship offices are responsible for issues relating to this funding of training. They also have addresses of foundations and private funds that offer financial support.
The Hulda and Gustav Zumsteg Foundation (HGZS) supports young restaurateurs in their education: Each year, the HGZS provides financial support to one or two dedicated SHL students who have already begun their studies.In return, the funded students undertake to complete an internship at the company Kronenhalle, which belongs to the HGZS. Active SHL students can apply for this scholarship during the course of their studies.
SHL is a partner of the Movetia Foundation, one of the aims of which is to promote the inter-European exchange of students. The cooperation with Movetia allows SHL to provide grants to students who are completing an internship or management experience in another European country.
